January has been a busy month! I attended a Zumba workshop January 7 and became certified to teach ZumbAtomic - which is Zumba for kids ages 4-12. They have the program divided into two age groups: 4-7 years old are "Little Stars" and 8-12 years old are "Big Stars." It is age appropriate with all of the fun of Zumba. I am so excited to get some classes going!
Yesterday, I attended an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) Workshop and completed the testing for my Primary Group Fitness Certification. It was a pretty big deal! So, I am now certified to teach in Gyms and Rec Centers.
I've been so excited to get my own class up and running. I'm looking into several locations and hopefully will be able to announce some class dates and times soon.
