Important Zumba Info
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to let you know of some upcoming changes to my Zumba schedule. I was able to get a time slot for our class at the South Jordan Fitness and Aquatic Center on Monday nights at 8pm. Those classes will begin Monday, November 5. The price for 1 class is $5, or they have a 10 class punch card for $40.
I will no longer be teaching at ADA on Thursday nights, and therefore my punch cards will be invalid. So, I will be teaching at ADA October 25 (tomorrow) and November 1 (next Thursday). You can come and use your punch cards for those classes. If you still have punches on your punch cards after that, I will reimburse you for however many punches you have left on three conditions:
1. You must email me first and let me know how many punches you need to be reimbursed for by 5pm on the day you come to be reimbursed. This is so I have adequate time to go to the bank and have the cash to give you.
2. You must come to ADA on either of the dates mentioned above to be reimbursed. I will be reimbursing people after class. If you choose not to come to class, you can come between 9:30pm and 10pm to be reimbursed. I will not be reimbursing people outside of these dates/times/place.
3. Your punch card must not be expired before November 1, 2012 in order for me to reimburse you for any remaining punches.
Bleh...enough with the serious stuff! OK, so if you want to come to South Jordan on Monday, November 5th, please let me know and I can try to get you in for free for this first time. I'm excited! Thursdays just weren't working for anyone!!
My new schedule as of November 5th will be:
Mondays 8pm South Jordan Rec Center (about 11000 S. Redwood Rd.)
Wednesdays 9pm Daybreak Community Center
Fridays Noon at South Jordan Rec Center
Also, I will be deleting this blog at that time, so please "Like" my Facebook page to communicate with me and for details on my Zumba classes in the future: Utah Zumba With Amy. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Party in Pink (TM) Zumbathon!
I am co-hosting a "Party in Pink" Zumbathon with Tesha Ceislak on Wednesday Oct. 5 at ADA. Tickets are $7 each and all of the profits will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Come support this worthy cause during Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
**Note: There is very limited availability. Tickets will be sold first come first served, in person, at my Zumba classes starting next Wednesday Sept.7.
Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.
That promise is now Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1.9 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, they're working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like Zumba's Party in Pink™ Zumbathon® Charity Event and generous contributions from their partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, they have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
Zumba Fitness is teaming up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
and its global nonprofit partners through the global Party in Pink (TM) movement to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and community outreach programs.
Join Amy Jack and Tesha Cieslak Wednesday, October 5, 2011 as we team up to raise money for this worthy cause. All of the profits from this event will go to charity.
Doors open at 7:30pm, the Zumbathon will start at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $7 and there is limited availibility, so purchase yours from Amy or Tesha today!
Everyone attending will be entered into a drawing for raffles prizes!
