Reminders/Changes

I wanted to let everyone know that we ARE having class at Axis this Saturday at 7:30am. My weekend plans got cancelled, so I'll be there!

Reminder:

Today is the last day to trade your Axis punch card for one of my punch cards. I'll be teaching tonight at Axis at 8:30, so come to class and we can switch them out. If you can't make it to class, please contact me today and we'll arrange a time to meet up.

Axis Dance Center will be going out of business in the middle of June. I am currently looking to a place to move my classes to. I will keep you updated on what my plans are. If you have one of my punch cards, you can follow me to my new place and use them there.

We will NOT be having class the following dates this month:

Saturday the 21st (I'll be competing in a triathlon that morning)

Monday the 23rd (My 13th wedding anniversary!)

Saturday the 28th (I'll be out of town for Memorial Day Weekend)

Just wanted to let you know so you can plan accordingly!

New Zumba Pricing at Axis

New Zumba Class Pricing:

- $5 for 1 class or $40 for a 10 class punch card

- From now on, your first class is FREE!

- For those of you who have already been to my class (and didn't get it free the first time!), I'm having a FREE CLASS for EVERYONE nextMonday May 9, 8:30pm at Axis!

- Anytime you bring a friend for their first time at my class, YOU also get that class for free!

We will have class in the far back studio and you can just come straight back to me and I'll take your payment or punch your card.

Change in Punch Cards

For those of you who have punch cards at Axis: I am changing things around just a bit with the studio. I will be having my own punch cards for Zumba. If you want to keep your Axis card for belly dancing, pilates, etc., then you will need to get a different punch card from me as well for Zumba.

If you are only using your Axis punch card for Zumba, there will be no real change for you. I will just swap out your Axis card with one of mine and mark off the same number of classes used. The change will start next week. From then on, you'll pay for Zumba directly to me, not the studio. Let me know if you have questions.

Party Hearty Success!

I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Zumbathon last Friday. It was a great success - we had a packed room! We raised over $200 for the American Heart Association and burned some MAJOR calories while doing it! (1075 to be exact!) Gotta LOVE Zumba!!

FYI: Axis Dance Center will be closed for Spring Break. So, classes are cancelled Thursday (4/21), Saturday (4/23) and Monday (4/25). They open back up Tuesday, 4/26.

Party Hearty Zumbathon!

This Friday night, I am hosting a Zumbathon benefiting the American Heart Association's "Go Red Por Tu Corazon" Movement. (Go Red For Your Heart.) It's a Girls' Night Out, so grab your girlfriends, wear some red, and join me to help raise money for this worthy cause!

Girls' Night Out Party Hearty Zumbathon!

THE CAUSE:
Party Hearty is a Zumbathon Charity Event supporting The American Heart Association's "Go Red Por Tu Corazón." (Go Red For Your Heart) This movement celebrates the energy, passion and power we have as women to band together to wipe out heart disease, the No. 1 cause of death for women.

Thanks to the participation of millions of people across the country, the color red and the red dress now stand for the ability all women have to improve their heart health and live stronger, longer lives and be there for their families.

To support this cause, 75% of each ticket fee to be donated to Go Red Por Tu Corazón for a minimum donation by Zumba Fitness of $100,000. Also, 30% of the sale price of limited-edition Party Hearty Zumbawear™ products will be donated to the movement.

THE PLAN:
Cost: $10 cash or check at the door and includes a free gift!
Registration will be from 6:30-7:30pm.
A Basic Steps Review will be from 7-7:30pm, so come early if you're new to Zumba! We'll go over the basic steps which will make the class even easier to follow.
The Zumbathon will start at 7:30 and will go until 9:00pm.
I will have Zumbawear and Accessories for sale (cash or check please).
I will be having Raffles for fun prizes!($1 per ticket)
Water will be provided.
